ON THE COURT: #4 SUNY Canton defeated #8 Penn State Fayette in two sets, 2-0 (25-18, 25-20) to improve their record in pool play B to 2-0.  The Kangaroos were able to jump out to an early lead over Penn State Fayette, however, SUNY Canton was forced to call a timeout as Penn State closed the gap 17-15.  Out of the timeout, SUNY Canton scored five straight points on their way to the set victory.

In an evenly matched second set, SUNY Canton hung on to a 7-6 early lead before settling down. As a team, the Kangaroos had 15 kills on 44 total attacks in the second set to create distance between them and Penn State Fayette to secure the victory.
